JATF CET 2026: JITO Scholarship & Free UPSC Coaching for Jain Students
Prepare for UPSC with a 100% scholarship! Learn about the JATF CET 2026 exam, eligibility criteria, and free civil services coaching provided by JITO for Jain students.
Preparing for the UPSC Civil Services Examination (IAS, IPS, IRS) or State Public Service Commissions (SPSC) is a rigorous and expensive journey. Recognizing this, the Jain International Trade Organisation (JITO), through its JATF (JITO Administrative Training Foundation) wing, offers an incredible scholarship and coaching program to empower students from the Jain community.
If you are a Jain aspirant dreaming of breaking into the Indian bureaucracy, the JATF CET (Common Entrance Test) 2026 is your golden ticket to receiving top-tier, free, or highly subsidized coaching.
What is the JATF CET & PACE Program?
JATF conducts a nationwide Common Entrance Test (CET) every year. The objective is to identify bright, dedicated aspirants from the Jain community and sponsor them through the PACE (Public Administration and Civil Services Enhancement) project.
Instead of a traditional cash scholarship, meritorious students selected through this exam are provided with heavy financial sponsorship for coaching fees at some of India's premier UPSC coaching institutes (primarily in hubs like Delhi and Pune).
What Facilities Are Provided?
To ensure aspirants face zero hurdles during their preparation, JATF provides comprehensive support:
- Coaching Sponsorship: Partial or 100% funding for UPSC/SPSC coaching at top partner institutes.
- Hostel & Accommodation: Access to JATF's specialized hostels equipped with premium study environments and libraries.
- Mentorship: Direct guidance and mentorship from serving IAS, IPS, and IRS officers who belong to the Jain community.
- Test Series: Free or subsidized access to standard prelims and mains test series.
Eligibility Criteria for JATF CET 2026
To apply for the JATF CET 2026 exam, aspirants must fulfill the following criteria:
- Community Requirement: The applicant must be a follower of Jain principles.
- Educational Qualification: The candidate must be a graduate from a recognized university. Students currently in the final year of their graduation are also eligible to apply.
- Age Limit: The preferred age bracket is typically between 20 to 28 years.
- Special Preference: Graduates from premier national institutes (IITs, IIMs, NITs, NLUs) or those holding professional degrees (MBBS, CA) may be given extra weightage during the interview stage.
- Restriction: Candidates who have previously availed of JATF hostel/coaching facilities via previous CET exams are generally not eligible to reappear.
The Selection Process
The scholarship is highly competitive. The selection is strictly merit-based and follows a two-stage process:
- Written Examination (CET): An objective screening test covering General Studies (History, Geography, Polity, Economy, Current Affairs) and CSAT (Aptitude, Reasoning, Comprehension)—similar to the actual UPSC Prelims pattern.
- Personal Interview: Candidates who clear the written test are invited for a personal interview to gauge their psychological suitability, dedication, and administrative aptitude.
How to Apply for JATF CET 2026
- Track Official Announcements: JATF usually opens registrations for the CET a few months before the actual exam date. Keep a close watch on the official website: www.jatf.in.
- Submit Online Form: Complete the application form, upload your degree certificate/final year marksheet, and pay the nominal exam registration fee.
- Secure Recommendation: Some applications may require signatures or recommendations from a local JITO chapter official.
Need Loans Instead of Coaching?
While the CET program covers coaching, if you are looking for financial assistance to fund your regular graduation or PG degrees (like an MBA or B.Tech), JATF offers separate schemes. Read our complete guide here: JITO Education Loan for Jain Students: JELP & SEED Schemes
